ELA is a federation of more than 30 National Logistics Associations covering most of Western, central European countries and beyond. The members of these National Logistics Associations are professionals working in a logistics function, mainly in the industry but also in different service sectors. Throughout this network ELA reaches 55.000 logistics professionals.

The “ELA Awards” has become one of the most prestigious and important European logistics competition and is much sought after by companies throughout Europe. Its recognition of outstanding performance is highly valued by both previous winners and would-be winners alike. During an afternoon conference a number of 6 final projects are presented for the invited guests.

ELA Awards will take place online, via a specialized broadcasting platform. Thus the keynote speech, the presentation of the projects and the awarding moment for Project of the Year and Best Presentation will be live streamed for anyone interested to attend.

The guests will benefit in addition from a special round table organized for them, gathering top speakers from the logistics and supply chain industry who will deliver a high-quality content relevant for the changes we are all facing.

Together with keynote speakers from the European Parliament and the European Commission and also top speakers, practitioners in logistics and supply chain industry this becomes a gathering of international best practice cases.

The award is presented to a company that has made an outstanding achievement in logistics and supply chain management, which contributed to the logistics profession. It provides companies with the opportunity to present their concepts on a European stage. In addition, the company with the winning project is entitled to use a logo indicating that they have won the award. Entries describe a logistics project that has been implemented by a company. The criteria used to select the winner of the award are designed to encourage entries from companies of all sizes, as well as from individuals. The competition follows the Champions League system, which means that each ELA national member association may submit the winner of their national qualifying contest. The projects must be prejudged and submitted by that association.

The audience elect the ‘Best Presentation’ from the six finalist projects presented during the event ceremony. The presentation of the projects will be broadcasted live, offering the possibility to vote for their favourite presentation for online participants.
